I was born and raised in a small town in South Georgia (Nashville), where I lived until June 2011. I have served as an assistant principal at Pickens High School since the 2011-12 school year, and I am grateful not only to have the opportunity to work with such an awesome group of professionals, but I am equally thankful to serve an outstanding student body. This is my sixth year in administration and my twentieth year in education. I served as a high school graduation coach for two years and a classroom teacher for twelve years. I can say that being an educator has been a truly rewarding career choice. We really do have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the world, and what an honor it is to serve the good people of Pickens County!
